Balyena Reunion [ June 24 ] Last night, we had our Balyena reunion, and we were almost complete. We missed you, Peep. :( We had dinner at Flaming Wings. We introduced Carlo to Wicked Oreos. (which he is now going to binge on 'til he leaves.) :P And then we went to Carla's house to bond, and share our deep dark secrets, which became darker when Carla turned off the light. :)) (Benta, Carlo.) We talked about training, debaters, people, crushes, each other, what we missed the most, and everything that happened in Wales. But this, by far, is the coolest. XD Last year, we were here: Welsch Food Night, bitching about Byotz, and generally being crazy. A few hours before, we met: Ryan Nelson, a really sweet Welsch kid, who was our tour guide along with his two other friends. And he told us he would be in the next Harry Potter movie. ... Stupid Week. [ August 17 ] [ mood | lonely ] I asked for a break. I got it. NTS: Never test God. He just keeps proving He knows what's best for you. I hate this. I've been dizzy/feverish/throwing up/tummy ache-y/disconnected from the world since Sunday. I tried to go to Sabpag practice yesterday. I didn't make it. I got all the way to Poveda at 2.30--then I broke out in a cold sweat and my mom said I couldn't go to Elle's house anymore. AUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH. I really wanted to learn Sabpag. I did. I was memorizing the poem even if I was coughing really harshly after every three words. I've never wanted to speak tagalog so much. Now, I don't even know what my class is doing. I don't know the actions or the blocking or anything. Tomorrow, I'm just going to have to sit and watch. I hate this. They're still going to do awesome though, I'm sure. :) Apparently the population of A is dwindling so badly that section B had to give them Cecon just so they could hold off til the end of the day. I honestly wonder if it worked. Mrs. Aro sounded frantic on the phone yesterday... told me there were only 19 of them that were still slightly healthy. Then she told me to go to bed. Heh. Grands. :) [ March 5 ] [ mood | drained ] Okay, Grands went better than I expected, since we were able to make it all the way to finals this year. :) Yay! (And Arnie, we accomplished both our goals in the process!) :)) It was kinda sad, the final round, because Gica and I realized that all the people debating there with us would be gone the next time Grands rolled around. It feels really weird knowing that Pao, Jen, Krisha, Mikee, Anna and Arianne wont be there anymore next year. I guess its cause, well, they've always been there. Congratulations to Pao and Mikee! :) Way to end your High School debating career, guys! :) And Arnie, thank you for everything. Yay. :D [ February 16 ] [ mood | ecstatic ] Watched Life is Beautiful today, for Socsci, and, being the girly girl that I am, I cried. :P Juts was the funniest though, she was crying through the ending prayer pa. So the day went as follows: Spanish class was okay. It wasn't deadly, but it made me hungry. For the past three meetings we've been learning how to order food in spanish, and when all your hand outs say 'Chuletas de Cordero', you start craving really badly. Chem was killer. Hate. THE was polvoron making time. Even though we were supposed to make a cake, wont get into that. Long, complicated, I want to kill someone story. The rest of the day was the Life is Beautiful marathon, which was fun. I had Noli practice after that, which I love cause my class is so kengkoy. Ehehe. And the rest of practice was devoted to hanging out with Bello, Guiao 2, and Annie. It was funny how we went planner crazy and started posting papers all over the planner with useless notes from each other. Post-Its are the shit. Prom '06 [ February 5 ] [ mood | content ] . . . Whee~! :D It was a total blast, thanks to the prom comm (everything was flawless!), my gorgeous barkada, my tablemates <3, James, and all the rest of the people I spent the night with. :) I had so much fun, especially camwhoring with all these random people, dancing with our heels off, and the kwarto party of the barkada afterwards. :) You guys are mega <3. Funniest quotes of the night came from Rai's date, Robby. Haha. Rai, panalo! I loved your date to death, especially at the awardings. :)) Congrats to Janna for winning best dressed, Chany, Joyce, Chabeli and Den for winning prom princesses, Kaks for bagging the Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum award, and Rica for winning Prom Queen. :) ( And now, my dress. :) ) Prom wasn't perfect, but it was great.
